北京大學聯合婚戀網站百合網公布了《2015中國人婚戀狀況調查報告》。報告中顯示，相比于前幾代人群，中國人初次約會與性行為的年齡都有所提前，但是結婚年齡卻推后了。平均來看，95后初次性行為的年齡為17.71歲，而1980年代或更早年代出生人群的初次性行為年齡為22.17歲。大部分年輕人的結婚年齡在22-28歲。調查還顯示，所謂“七年之癢”的時間已經縮短的3-5年。

Young Chinese people begin dating and have sex for the first time earlier than previous generations, but they marry later, according to a survey conducted by Peking University and Baihe.com, a dating website. On average, people born after 1995 have sex for the first time at age 17.71, as opposed to 22.17 for those born in the 1980s or older. Most young people marry between ages 22 and 28. The survey also indicated that the seven-year itch has been reduced to somewhere between three and five years.
